UI/UX Intern

About the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Associate UI/UX Designer to join our team. In this role, you will support the design and development of user-friendly and visually compelling digital experiences for both web, desktop, or mobile applications. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the end to end design process, including user research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. 

What you will do:

• Assist in designing intuitive and visually engaging interfaces for mobile, web or desktop applications.
• Create user flows, low to mid fidelity wireframes, and mockups under the guidance of senior designers.
• Translate design requirements into effective visual concepts using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Help ensure consistency in visual elements, spacing, and typography across various screen sizes and platforms.
• Support user research efforts including interviews, surveys, and usability testing sessions.
• Work collaboratively with product managers, developers, and senior designers to ensure designs align with technical and business needs.
• Present and communicate your design work clearly to internal teams and seek feedback for improvement.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements of design workflows and tools.

Desired skills & experience:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
• Possess relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Indonesian, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Basic understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and usability concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively
